Skin Free Review and Giveaway

I am not a girly girl but I LOVE any bath & beauty products. I love soaps and I love lotions, body butters, scrubs and all that jazz. So when I got to opportunity to try Skin Free Products, I was thrilled. I also wanted to try them because they are made with all natural ingredients and at this point in my life, I am liking natural stuff.

Skin Free Products are a skin care products made for people with delicate, sensitive or extremely dry skin. They are:

* Made with all Natural Ingredients
* No Harmful Chemicals or Preservatives
* No Fragrance
* No Petroleum Products
* No colorants
* They don't practice animal testing (YAY!)
* No Steroids

Skin Free Products are also recommended for people with:
* Extreme Dry Skin
* Skin or Fragrance Allergies
* Psoriasis
* Dermatitis
* Eczema
* Pregnant Moms
* Babies
* The Elderly
* Diabetics
* Renal Patients
* After Radiation or Chemotherapy

To learn more, please visit their site. It details the type of ingredients that are used and why this line of skin care is so unique and good for you.

I love soap and I like fragrant soaps when I take a shower but I found that some of these soaps aren't great for my face because they have too many chemicals or fragrance that cause my skin to dry out. So I decided to try the Extra Moisturizing Soap to wash my face. I loved it. After washing, my face felt clean and moisturized. The rest of the day, it was still smooth and fresh. After a few days of using the soap, my face remained feeling smooth and silky. I loved it.

I have wickedly dry elbows so I used the Niaouli Butter Stick every morning on them to see if they would smooth out. The Butter Stick was great. It targets the one area I want, when I want. After a few days, I noticed an improvement on my elbows. The real test will come in winter.

I also tried the Super Moisture Body Balm. It was different to say the least. It is like a really watery lotion but a little greasy. This is not a product I need in the summertime because it is to rich and creamy. I could see myself using this in the wintertime when my skin gets super duper dry and flaky. I can't wait until winter to get the full benefit.

My favorite product was the After Shower Moisture Spritz. I loved it because I was able to spray it all over my body and it went on easily. I spray it on after the shower then towel off like the instructions state. The rest of the day, my skin stays moist and silky. It kept my skin soft even after being out in the sun. I really liked that.

Overall, I liked the Skin Free products. I also really liked that they are natural and have no harmful ingredients. That goes a long way in my book! I will definitely buy these when I run out especially when winter comes. I also spied some other great products that I didn't review but want to try like the Sweet and Smooth Sugar Scrub, the Green Clay Mask and the Corrective Face nectar. These products look great as well.

If you want to try these products, Skin Free products are available at http://www.skinfree.net/ as well as certain CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens stores. Right now, Skin Free has a great BOGO offer going on if you shop at Walgreens. Shop on their site now and get Free Shipping on any order of $25 or more.

But wait there's more! Thanks to Julie Hilton, founder of Skin Free, you could win a $30 gift certificate to Skin Free and choose the items you want. Thanks Julie!! Just follow the rules and enter!! Easy peasy, lemon squeesy. Who wouldn't want to try these products? It's good stuff!!

I learned that these products are safe for infants and that sometimes 'psoriasis' is actually a prolonged allergic reaction/sensitivity to fragrances and other additives.

I would like to try some of these products on my scalp and near my hairline; i do better when i use more 'natural' hair products but flaking, redness, itching etc on and near scalp might do best with the least 'stuff'. Too oily to not shampoo at all though.

Tight and restrictive clothing may trap sweat and increase the itching and rash associated with chronic dermatitis. It also acts as an irritant on its own. Wearing loosely fitting natural fabrics allows your skin to breathe and reduces chances of breakout and infection due to scratching.
