Saturday, August 8, 2009 Review!

I had the opportunity through Twitter from @supershoes_com to review a pair of shoes they sell at SuperShoes is a great website where you can find tons of really nice shoes at a reasonable price. They carry brands like Born, Timberland, Skechers, Carolina, Naturalizer, Bostonian among others. The prices are reasonable. They also offer free shipping and easy returns.

I am not a shoe fanatic like some people but I do like shoes. If you read my other blog, Carolyn in Carolina, you know I recently took a trip to Pittsburgh. I didn't take any regular shoes since I figured it would warm and I wasn't going to do any walking. Well, we walked miles. And I walked miles in sandals with absolutely no support. While I was fine that day, the weeks after were not so good. I hurt both my feet because it was not a good thing to walk around in shoes with no support. I knew then that I needed a pair of walking shoes that would support my foot and look good. So when given the opportunity from @supershoes_com
to review a pair of shoes, I knew exactly what type I needed.

I chose the Carolina Shelby Steel Toe shoe.
Some of the highlights:
•Athletic ESD Low - Steel Toe
•Nylon Mesh Fabric Lining
•Removable DRYZ Insole
•Rubber Outsole
•Electro-Static Dissapative
•Only Available In Steel Toe

I love these shoes. They are sturdy. They are great for walking. I wore them and couldn't believe how comfortable they were. And not only are they great for walking but I am using them to exercise in because my feet need that much support and they are lightweight enough to exercise in. I will never travel without them because you never know when you will need to walk as much as I did in Pittsburgh. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. The DRYZ insole helps to cut down on the sweaty foot syndrome. I would totally hike in these if I hiked, but I don't. But they are strong and sturdy enough for hiking.

I choose the Carolina Shelby Toe Shoe because I needed a good walking shoe but as I looked around the site, I found a few more shoes that I would love to have. Look at these Womens Double H Slough Cowboy Boot. A steal at $108! These are definitely going on my Christmas list. And the Born Shilo Papier boots. Adorable and affordable. Another item going on my Christmas list.

I also have an unhealthy obsession with Mary Jane shoes and I found two pairs that are going on my Christmas list as well. These Born Grier Mary Janes are the cutest things I have ever seen and the price is right. The Softspots Rhine Mary Janes are so darling.

The site is easy to use and easy to navigate. They have some cool features such as Tag feature where you can tag the shoes. You can tag them if they like them, hate them or share them. This way you can keep track of what you like and don't like. They have customer reviews and videos for you to watch as well. The best part though is the variety of shoes offered. It is immense and I think you can find any style you need. If you need dressy shoes, casual shoes, athletic shoes you will find them here. They have hiking boots, tennis shoes, sandals and heels. Plus every time you shop at you get rewarded. They always have exclusive promotions and Insider discounts. The are always adding new styles and brands. If you love shoes, you need to visit because I am sure you will a pair or two or three to fit your lifestyle.

Thank you for the opportunity to review my new Carolina shoes!!
