Will be Gone for a week

Hi all. I know I have been slacking off but work has been kicking my butt. By the time I get home, cook and decompress, I really don't want to blog or anything. I have not entered giveaways for myself for a week or so!! I hate that because I could be winning stuff! Boo!

But I still have some giveaways going on and will have a few more when I get back. But the good thing about my job is that the school the foundation raises money for has Spring Break next week and that means I get it off as well. Yay!

Tom has Spring Break off so we are off to the Dominican Republic for some much needed R&R. Yay! Our kitties will be mad they are left with our house/kitty sitter but oh well. They don't work so they have R&R all the time!

So enter my current giveaways and be prepared for other ones when I get back. I will have Clorox, Seventh Generation, Zhu Zhu Pet, Horizon Milk and a cool Disney Social Media Moms Swag bag giveaway coming up.

Bye and have a great week!!

CLOSED ~ Yoplait YoPlus Yogurt "Better For You" Review and Giveaway

I am a huge yogurt fan and I love Yoplait yogurt. I have reviewed several types of Yoplait on this blog thanks to Yoplait and MyBlogSpark. It is always tasty and it is good for me. In my quest to lose weight and feel better, Yoplait is an essential part of my diet.

This newly reformulated Yoplait YoPlus yogurt helps you stay proactive in your own health. YoPlus now provides three important health benefits in each four-oz. cup:

* Antioxidant vitamins A and E (now with 20% of your recommended daily value)
* A blend of probiotic cultures & fiber (three grams of fiber per 4-ounce serving) for digestive health
* Calcium and vitamin D for bone health

It also comes in six delicious flavors including Strawberry, Vanilla, Cherry, Peach, Blackberry Pomegranate and Blueberry Acai. I tried the Strawberry because that's my all time favorite flavor and like all Yoplait yogurt, it was delish!!!

There is also a YoPlus Light (my store didn't have that yet) and it only has 70 calories per cup! I know the minute I see it at my local grocery store, I will snag a pack! This new YoPlus Light comes in 3 different flavors: Honey Vanilla, Strawberry Banana, and Key Lime.

Visit this site and you can get a $1.00 coupon off one package of Yoplait YoPlus yogurt today!*

Along with the coupon I received, I also received a YoPlus "better-for-you" gift pack, that included an on-the-go lunch container with utensils, an insulated lunch bag, and a pedometer. I love this pack. I recently started a new job and this is the perfect lunch pack for me.

And the great people at Yoplait and MyBlogSpark have offered me another "Better For You" Gift Pack for one of my readers!! YAY! So follow the entry rules and good luck!

*This coupon offer for a free 4-pack of Yoplait YoPlus yogurt is not valid in some states, including California, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, and Tennessee.

Mandatory Entry

CLOSED ~ Natura World Review and Giveaway!

I am always looking for new Green Products to highlight on my blog. I try to be as green as I can but I know I have a long way to go. I have featured a few and I figure any change I make towards being greener is a good thing.

I recently had the opportunity to review products from Natura World. Here is a little info about Natura World from their site:

Founded by father and son team, Harry and Ralph Rossdeutscher, Natura was created out of a desire to solve the mystery behind having a healthier, more abundant lifestyle. As research led to the discovery of just how much a quality night’s sleep contributed to a productive daily lifestyle, Natura’s founders searched for a solution that would help people sleep well in order to live better.

The products they sell are designed to help you sleep better. The products I reviewed were the 2 in 1 Blanket Pillow, the Dream Mate Aloe Latex Pillow, the Aromatherapy Spray and the Dream Travel Pillow. Can I say I loved these products?

What I liked about these products was the fact that they are comfortable and did help me sleep better. Not only do they look good but you can tell they are high quality products. I never notice the workmanship on bedding but I did on these products. They are very well made. I also like is that these products allow for air circulation so that repels bacteria and common allergens. You can't wash this in the washer but spot cleaning works!

The Aloe Dream Pillow supported my neck as I slept. The pillow has a granulated core that molds to your body and provides the support I needed. I really liked this because I often find it hard to find a pillow that is firm yet soft. I also have a hard time finding pillows that really help me sleep. Some are either too soft or not soft enough. Because this molds around your body, it really made for a comfortable sleep.

The Aromatherapy Spray is fantastic. It has a clean fresh smell soothing smell that you can use on the Natura World products or your other linens. I used it on all our bedding and it was wonderful.

The travel pillow is like a smaller version of the Dream pillow. I like the size and convenience. You can take this in the car or on a plane trip. It is small enough to put into your carry on luggage or a large purse. This is so much better than the airplane pillows. It's like taking a little piece of home with you. This pillow is machine washable!!

My favorite item though was the 2 in 1 Washable Blanket Pillow. I loved it. Basically it is a 15 x 15 pillow that when turned out turns into a blanket. This is the handiest thing in the world. I tossed this into the car when we went on a road trip and it was great to have it as a pillow and when it got chiller, I just opened it and had a handy blanket. This item is soft and comfy like the other ones. But I adore this because you can take it anywhere including a plane. It's the size of a throw pillow so it fits anywhere.

All the products are made with unbleached cotton percale. They also have a wool lining that helps to regulate temperature next to the skin which allows you to sleep deeper.

The difference between these products and the generic ones you buy at the store is huge. Now they aren't inexpensive but pillows and blankets are something you shouldn't skimp on at all. I know I try to spend a little extra for bedding because it makes a difference especially when you are trying to get a good night's sleep. The fact they use organic materials is a plus!! I am always looking for products that also are green and organic. I would highly recommend these products. They worked great for me!

Now if you want to try a Natura World 2 in 1 Blanket Pillow then you know the drill. The Natura World peeps were wonderful enough to offer me an extra to giveaway to you guys!! Yay! Good Luck.

CLOSED ~ Mirra Products Review and Giveaway

I was recently given the opportunity through Global Influence to try some new beauty products. These new mirra products are available through Kroger.

From the website:
Kroger is proud to introduce mirra, our easy to use, exclusive health and beauty care brand for family-focused women seeking effortless beauty. Mirra combines quality, natural ingredients with the latest science to meet 3 different needs: Daily – routine personal care; Renew – a rejuvenating time out; and Inspire – quick transformations for a night out.
I tried the products for 2 weeks. What I love about these mirra products is that they are made with natural ingredients such as aloe leaf juice, olive oil, bamboo, cranberry, chicory root extracts, honey & more. I am all about natural ingredients especially when it comes to beauty products because it makes a difference. As I get older, I am finding that I have to take the time to pamper my skin and have a daily beauty regiment so I am always looking out for new products to try.

In my box, I received a bottle each of the Daily Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner, mirra Replenishing Body Wash, mirra Hydrating Night Treatment, mirra Renew Protective Lotion, mirra Exfoliating and Detoxifying Cleanser and also the mirra Micro Remodeling Cream.

I have to say I loved the shampoo and conditioner. They smelled fresh and clean with just a touch of scent to smell good but not overly perfumy. The products left my hair soft and shiny. And I tell you, I am forever and a day looking for good shampoo for my hair because it will dry out if I am not careful. These kept my hair healthy and looking good. I would definitely buy these again.

The Micro Remodeling Cream and Hydrating Night Treatment were good as well. Although they felt a little watery and a little greasy on my face. To be honest, I usually don't use face cream so I had to get used to it. I don't think the two weeks is enough to notice a huge difference in my face but as I get older, I know that I need to use more facial products whether I want to or not. I am going to give it a few more weeks to see if those little fine lines around my eyes go away or become less noticeable.

I loved the Exfoliating and Detoxifying Cleanser. I am a firm believer in exfoliating my skin and this one worked well and was gentle enough as not to leave my skin feeling sensitive. I am certainly going to continue using this product because it worked super well for me. Now I always warn people about using any type of exfoliating product because you have to be careful that it is not too harsh for your skin. I liked the Body Wash and Protective Lotion. They left my skin feeling smooth and silky and worked well. The smell was nice and not perfumy.
Overall, I liked these products. They are pretty good and there are certainly some that I would use or buy on a regular basis.

If you want to try these products go to Kroger.com and print off the $5 coupon - good when you buy 2 products. You can find the products at your local Kroger store. If you want to win a gift pack of mirra products then all you need to do is ENTER! WOO! Read the rules and you might be able to try these fabulous products for yourself!

Mandatory Entry

Head on over to Kroger and come back and tell me something you learned from the website.

eShakti Review

I recently had the opportunity to check out a clothing website: eShakti. eShakti is a unique online store online that allows custom changes in the style of the garment you order. When you order a clothing item, you get to customize it to your measurements. You can change the sleeves, neckline, length all to suit your size.

"To make every customer look her absolute best by providing amazing drape and always carrying any size she wants, and by letting her change the style too to suit herself."

Since I am a full-figured gal, I am always on the lookout for clothes that fit me and make me look good. eShakti offers sizes from 0-26W and custom sizes too. The eShakti clothes are designer wear items that are not seen in stores. Because they base the item you order on your custom measurements, it will always fit well and look good.

I was able to review this cute summer dress. It was a hard decision because I really liked the clothes at eShakti. They have dresses, jackets, skirts, blouses and pants. When I saw this little dress I knew I wanted it for summer. It has the cap sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. I was a little reluctant at first because many times I have tried on these types of dresses only to find they look weird on me.

I am rather busty so a lot of times these type of dresses don't work on my body shape. A lot of times the bust area is tight on these dresses even if they are full-figured sizes. But I decided how better to review these products but to order something that usually doesn't work for me.

Ordering was easy. I had to fill out a form with MY measurements. The dress came within a week. There were no tags and you could tell it was custom made. The fabric is beautiful and light and airy. The real test came when I put on the dress. Lo and behold it fit perfectly. I only wish it was summer now so I could wear it right away. The thing I noticed is that the fit around my bust was perfect. It wasn't tight. It wasn't awkward and it fit well.

I am sold. I know I will be ordering again from eShakti because I love clothes and I love clothes that fit well. The prices are very reasonable for custom clothing as well. So check out the eShakti site for some great clothing!

eShakti is also holding a great contest!! Tell them Who is the eShakti woman? and win. The grand prize winner receives $250. 25 entrants receive $50 and everyone else gets a $10 gift certificate to eShakti! WOO! How cool is that? So go enter and tell them I sent you! eShakti has fun, beautiful clothes for everyone in any size! You can also follow eShatki on Facebook and Twitter!

Tropicana Juicy Rewards

I recently became a Tropicana Juicy Rewards Insider through Savvy Auntie blog! Yippee!

If you love orange juice then this program is for you. The Juicy Rewards program is easy, it's free and if you by Orange Juice you can get codes. The codes will get you points and with those points, you earn rewards.

The rewards are fantastic. You can earn points towards workout gear to camping supplies to admissions to zoos, museums, and amusement parks. So cool!

How do you earn rewards? Buy specially-marked packages of Tropicana, Tropicana Pure Premium and Tropicana Trop50 products featuring the Tropicana Juicy Rewards logo. Once you have your juice, you will find a unique 10 character code on the cap or package. Go over to the Tropicana site, sign up and enter codes. The more points you have the better the rewards.

I visited the site and have my eye on getting a discount at Harrah's resorts. We have one about an hour away and it would be fantastic to get a discount on a long weekend with my hubby! But there are so many other rewards. All you have to do is search for rewards in your area. I live in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere so there are few rewards for attractions. But if you live in a big city, you can probably find tons. I know when I travel, I will check out the Tropicana rewards to see if I can get discounts on attractions on places I go. Cool!

So check out the Tropicana Juicy Rewards plan for yourself. If you already drink Tropicana, it would be fantastic! If not, you should try it because it's our favorite!! To get you started use the code SAVVY-AUNTI* within 6 hours of registering for Juicy Rewards and you'll get one extra bonus point worth $5 in savings immediately! (Please note: there is no 'E" after AUNTI). You can follow Tropicana on Twitter and Facebook as well.

Have fun!!

Disclosure: I received a $50 gift card & 12 points to use for redemption and facilitate my review. No other compensation was given and the opinions in this post are solely mine and are based on my experience with the product.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

Well, I have news. I got a job! I was thinking I would never find a fundraising job around this area but something came up after I got back from Disney.

It is exactly what I used to do and the job description fit me to a T. I am the new Director of Development for a foundation in a nearby town. I won't give too many details because I like to keep my professional life and personal life separate, for now. The drive is about 45 minutes each way and that is the downfall but it is a job that I am excited about it and I think it will work out.

Everyone there seemed really nice and the position is a new one so I have a lot of flexibilty in making it my own. We will see what happens. The bad part is I will not have time to update my blog. I am going to try and keep up this review blog. I have a few giveaways coming up that will not be affected. I will also never give up entering giveaways so I will still be posting my weekly round-up. I think if I take less reviews/giveaways, I can possibly keep up!! So don't go away, I will try to keep bringing you stuff to win!!!
