As many of you know, I am slowly but surely trying to go greener. I love reviewing green products because finding ones that I like makes it easier for me to be greener. So when I got the opportunity to review Seventh Generation products, I was thrilled.
Seventh Generation uses the natural disinfecting power of thyme to make its disinfecting cleaners work without harmful chemicals. Seventh Generation has lead the “responsible cleaning” charge for the past twenty years, and now they are introducing an EPA registered line of botanical disinfectant cleaners, including a multi-surface cleaning spray, bathroom cleaning spray and wipes. According to the company, these new products can supposedly kill over 99.99 percent of germs naturally and are effective against the Influenza A Virus, including H1N1.

Now it's Spring Cleaning time so these products came at a great time. We are slowly but surely cleaning every inch of the house and garage. The products I received to review were Seventh Generation paper towels, bathroom cleaner, multi-surface cleaner, a cleaning caddy and The Conscious Kitchen by Alexandra Zissu. Fantastic.
Now I have to admit that I am a disinfecting wipes addict. Yes, if you read my Clorox review, you know I am a nut about them so I was anxious to try the Seventh Generation disinfecting wipes. To my surprise, they worked pretty well. They cleaned up my kitchen mess in a snap. The bathroom cleaner and the multi-surface cleaner worked well too. The multi-surface cleaner was great getting our outdoor furniture really clean. I had to get used to the paper towels but they were actually surprising in that they held up really well to scrubbing. I would like them to be half sheets as I like using half sheets instead of whole sheets but basically they did a fantastic job.
Overall, I give these products a thumbs up especially if you want to cut back on chemical cleaners. They are gentle on the hands and gentle on the Earth. Since I live in a tiny town, it's hard for me to find them but when I do, I will buy them because I am trying to do my part! Besides cleaning products Seventh Generation also offers baby care products, feminine hygiene products, laundry and dishwashing products and more! These are really good products and you should try them if you want to "green" up your house!
Alexandra Zissu's book is chock full of wonderful tips that make sense and really promote healthy living. You have to check it out.
If you want to try and win your own cleaning caddy with all the goodies I received then you can enter my giveaway! YAY! The people at Seventh Generation and MyBlogSpark have been generous enough to offer one to my readers. You know the drill!!
