I love road trips. Ever since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, I remember always getting excited when my parents said we were going to travel. Because we didn't have a lot of money, many of our trips were road trips. I remember the excitement the night before packing all our stuff. My sister and I always were allowed to take one personal bag or tote with stuff to entertain ourselves on the road. I remember having a little pink bag that I would keep crayons and coloring books. I also made sure to have a few books. My sister always carried the games. Most of the time we would just look out the window and think about all the cool places we were going to visit.

My most memorable road trip was a trip we took from Los Angeles, CA to Costa Rica. Yes, we did that. It was fantastic. We traveled through Arizona, New Mexico Texas, all of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and then Costa Rica. I saw so much on that trip and I will never forget it.
