CLOSED ~ SleepJoy Mattress Topper Review and Pillow Giveaway

When I told hubby that I got an offer to review a SleepJoy mattress topper, he was actually not receptive to the idea. I think it was because we already had one of those tempurpedic ones on the bed and he was happy with it. I wasn't. The topper we had was not very good.

We have a King size bed and we ordered a King size topper and it never fit correctly. So that meant it was a little off on the sides and guess who got the short end of the topper? Yes, me. So I told him that we would try this new SleepJoy topper and if we didn't like it, we would go back to the old one. Well the old one is on its way out!!

We received the King Size 3" VitaTop mattress topper. It was in a pretty tiny box when it came and I thought no way is this a King size mattress topper but once we unpacked it, it rolled out perfectly and, better yet, fit perfectly on our bed. It was cushy. It had a subtle green tea smell to it, which was quite nice. The topper also has ventilation holes for air circulation.

The SleepJoy mattress toppers are made from ViscoFresh enhanced memory foam. This means SleepJoy's toppers offer greater air circulation so you don't overheat at night. They are naturally free of chemical odors. They also offer superior comfort & support. And SleepJoy uses renewable, plant based ingredients. The mattress toppers have memory foam so it hugs your body and relieves pressure. ViscoFresh is apparently 5 times more breathable than ordinary memory foam mattresses.

To our surprise, the Vita Top came with a 300 thread count cotton cover filled with "down like gel fiber" as well. It was like a special added treat. So we laid out the topper on the bed and before I put on the cover, I hopped on the bed and tried it out. It was comfortable and soft. It felt pretty darn good. Hubby felt it and was a little skeptical. But he said he would have an open mind about it. I have to say that I also loved the cover. It fit perfectly over the topper and the best thing is that it is made for the deep mattresses. We had no problem getting it to fit around the topper and our own giant mattress.

That night when we went to bed, I could tell hubby was still a little iffy on the whole new mattress topper adventure. But the next morning he got up and said that it was very comfortable. Personally, I loved it. It was plush and cozy. It was like sleeping in a little cocoon of softness. A few days later, I saw hubby taking our old mattress topper outside to garage and I knew he was hooked. He said that this is the most comfortable thing he has slept on. He loves it as do I. I think he loves it even more than I do!!

I can't tell you how soft it it. The mattress topper itself conforms to the shape of your body and the cover gives it that extra added plushness. It also keeps us cool at night. Whereas, our old topper could get hot, we have had no such problems with the SleepJoy! It is fantastic. I have to say that this is one of my most favorite products I have ever had the pleasure of reviewing!!

I would totally recommend these products to anyone. My hubby would second that as well. I can tell you that we are sleeping better. And even our cat, Scout loves it! We find her on the bed all the time now. So if you are in the market for a new mattress topper or want to try one, go to SleepJoy first. Ours is at a medium firmness and it is perfect for the both of us. But they have softer or firmer toppers as well. They also offer some great pillows and covers.
