CLOSED ~ Swimsuitsforall.com Review and Giveaway!

Oh I am jealous! Why am I so jealous? It's because you guys will have the opportunity to win a $100 gift code to Swimsuitsforall.com and I love Swimsuitsforall.com.

You all know I am a curvy and voluptuous gal! Because I am full-figured, it is hard to find Plus Size Swimwear that fits right and looks good at most swimsuit stores. Well, Swimsuitsforall.com solved that because they carry swimsuits of all types, styles and designs for plus-sized women.

The selection is ridiculous! They have tankinis, bikinis, one piece suits, the little dress swimsuits and cover ups. The have suits for long torsos, petites, plus-size and the taller girls. They carry the following brands including Delta Burke, Longitude by Robby Len, Beach Belle, Liz Claiborne, Penbrooke, and Beach Native and many more.

Now if you think I am going to model my swimsuit for all to see on my blog, you are nuts! But I will tell you that I know I will be wearing it on my next trip wherever that will be so you might catch a glimpse when I post vacation pictures on my personal blog. But I will post the picture of the one piece suit I chose to review.

I chose the Delta Burke Dotted Floral Plus Size One Piece Swimsuit. I loved it because of the color block effect it has. I find that a suit with two tones and the empire cut really flatters my figure. I always wear one piece suits and this one fit perfectly and looked good. It is super duper cute. It has a soft cup bra, which I need. I have to have good support for the girls! The back has a wide scoop so it didn't ride up and stayed in place. It has a tummy control panel and god knows I desperately need that! I cannot wait to wear it at the beach or pool!!

I got so excited with my new swimsuit that I went back to the Swimsuitsforall.com site and bought a really adorable cover up as well to go with my new swimsuit. I bought the Club Z Black Fringe Plus Size Long-Sleeved Tunic Cover Up. Look how adorable it is. I loved it because it covers up and it is so nice that if I am at a resort, I can wear it to the restaurant because it looks more like a dress.

Swimsuitsforall.com carries sizes from 8 and up so there is something for everyone! The prices are excellent as well. The cover up I bought was only $19.98 and I found a code that got me 30% off. The Delta Burke suit I reviewed is only $69.99 and that is great price. I see these at department stores for so much more. Plus, the clearance section had some excellent items. I know come next summer season, I will be back to do a little more shopping!

I know my size but if you don't, the site has wonderful guides to help you find the right size and the right suit. As I said at the beginning, I am jealous because I have a $100 gift code for one lucky reader. They have such great stuff and $100 will buy you very nice items!! So enter and win.

Update: I WON!! ~ "I am a Saucy Mama" Food Blogger Contest and Giveaway!

Update: I won the recipe contest! YAY ME!

Last year, I saw a tweet from the Saucy Mama asking bloggers to enter a recipe contest they were holding. Now I am not a food blogger. I am a blogger who blogs about food, a lot of the time. But I entered a recipe, nonetheless.

Well, I didn't win. There were some great contestants and their food was so much better than mine. So this year when the email came to join in again, I almost didn't enter but I love the Saucy Mama line of marinades and condiments so I did.

As many of you know, I am not a chef. I am a pretty good cook but I cannot follow a recipe to save my life. So to create a recipe, was really hard for me since I am a random willy-nilly sort of cook. I received a box of goodies and thought long and hard about what to make. I decided since some of the best dishes I have created have come from using ingredients I already have in the house, I looked around and actually came up with something.

My recipe is: Saucy Beef Bites, Two Ways. I decided to create a recipe I could use when I am hosting a party. I love having little nibbles and bites and this will work out well. My recipe is a little willy-nilly but it is so easy that you cannot screw it up!

Saucy Beef Bites, Two Ways: Hot Wing Spicy Beef Bite & Peppery Beef Bite

Ingredients
2 Rib Eye steaks
1/2 cup Saucy Mama Hot Wing Sauce
1/2 cup Saucy Mama Cracked Pepper Marinade
1 cup prepackaged coleslaw mix
1/2 cup julienned arugula leaves
1 small chopped red onion
1 cup Saucy Mama Sweet Onion Marinade
1 French bread baguette
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions
The night before marinade one steak in the Hot Wing sauce and one steak in the Cracked Pepper sauce
Thinly slice the red onion and cook in 1/2 cup Sweet Onion Marinade until soft (20 minutes)
Slice baguette into 1 or 2 inch thick slices. Brush with Olive oil and toast.
Grill steaks and cut into paper thin slices when done
Mix coleslaw mix 1/2 cup Sweet Onion Marinade and set aside
When the toast is ready begin to assemble the appetizers

Hot Wing Spicy Beef Bite
Place a dollop of coleslaw on toast
Top with Hot Wing Marinaded steak
Top with crumbled Bleu Cheese
Drizzle Hot Wing Sauce

Peppery Beef BitePlace Red Onion on toast
Top with Cracked Pepper Steak
Top with crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
Garnish with julienned arugula
Drizzle with Cracked Pepper Sauce

That's it. It cannot get easier than that. The bites came out delicious. And I got a little crazy and decided to serve them with a martini garnished with some Saucy Mama Jalapeno stuffed olives. Delish!

The Hot and Spicy bite has a kick so if you do not like the spicy, then skip the drizzle. You could instead drizzle the bite with some bleu cheese dressing. The cool coleslaw cut the heat nicely though. I think some chopped celery leaves would have been a great garnish for this dish as well.

The Peppery Bite was my favorite because the sweetness of the onions was cut by the peppery arugula and the sharpness of the Gorgonzola cheese. It was yumminess on a slice of toast.

This will serve up to 12 people. With my ingredients, I was able to make quite a few bites. Of course, it depends on the size of the bread you use and how much steak you pile on. What I also like about this recipe is that it is also very versatile. You can substitute ingredients. You can also use different breads. I will definitely be serving these tasty bites at our next gathering! Wish me luck me on the contest.

Buen Provecho!!
Now onto the giveaway. I have some extra marinades, olives and mustard that I want to send a lucky winner. One winner will receive a grab box of Saucy Mama goodies to create your own tasty treats. So read the rules and enter below!!

CLOSED ~ Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop Review and Giveaway!

I have to say that there are very few companies that I really love. Rubbermaid is one of these companies. I love their products. I have never been disappointed with any Rubbermaid product I have bought or used. They just make quality products.

So when I was asked to review and giveaway one of their new Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mops, I jumped at the chance because it was Rubbermaid. I recently reviewed another mop and I liked it but I knew I had to try the Rubbermaid as well.

I have a few different types of these mops in my house now but I am always on the search for the perfect mop. Until I get a cleaning lady or my cats grow thumbs and actually do something, I am destined to clean the floors.
The hardwood floors are the bane of my existence. I hate cleaning them because they never get totally clean. I currently use a top brand mop but the problem is that while it is good, it is not great. It also costs money because you have to buy special disposable pads and cleaning liquid. The other mop I reviewed was good but not great either.

The Rubbermaid mop was not assembled but it was easy to put together. I did it and never had to ask hubby to help. It came with 3 Microfiber cleaning pad and 2 refillable bottles as well.

The first thing I noticed about the Rubbermaid, in comparison to the other mop I reviewed, was the mop head was studier and larger. The pad fit perfectly and it held tight. I liked that because with the disposable type mop I have, I find the pads slip. When that happens, then I have to change out the pad.

The Rubbermaid Reveal has a trigger and it is at the perfect height to squeeze when you need more liquid. The whole mop felt sturdy, was of good quality and cleaned well.

You can use the mop wet or dry. I used one pad to sort of dry mop the floors to pick up the cat hair, my hair and the dust bunnies that collect on the hardwood floors. Then I switched out the pads and started wet mopping. It was easy, it was quick and I had no issues with the mop. The mop head swivels so you can reach everywhere. It cleaned well and my floors looked nice afterwards.

Because you can use your own cleaning solution, you decide what is safe and proper for the floors you are cleaning. We have a mix of tile and hardwood. I usually use the same solution on both but the Rubbermaid site had some suggestions for cleaning solutions. It was great because I was able to use one just for hardwood floors and one for the tile. And the best part of using your own solution, is the money you will save. I spend quite a bit of money on the solution I use with my current mop so it's nice to know that I won't have that expense.

I also won't have the expense of buying disposable pads. The Rubbermaid Reveal pads are washable so you can use them over and over. The site says up to 100 times and that is pretty darn good. The refillable bottles are dishwasher safe as well.

The Reveal is safe on all hard floors including vinyl, hardwood, laminate and tile. There are no batteries which also saves you money. It is light and easy to use. I would totally recommend this product. If you hate cleaning like I do and are trying to find easier ways to do it, then this will help. It is also better than other similar mops because it will save you money and cut down on unnecessary waste. I always try to be "green" and this is a good way to start.

And for only $29.99, it is a great deal. You can purchase your own today online or find the Rubbermaid Reveal at Target, Wal Mart and Home Depot. Or, you can enter my giveaway and try your luck. Yes, my dears, I have one of these babies up for grabs just for you!! YAY!! You know the drill. Read the rules and enter. This is one giveaway you want to win!! Good Luck!

CLOSED ~ Pillsbury Sweet Moments Review and Giveaway!

Let me say when I found out I was going to review the Pillsbury Sweet Moments Bite-Size brownies, I was in hog heaven. I first tried these little mini bits of deliciousness at BlogHer at the MyBlogSpark Suite. They were delicious.

I remember getting offered a sample at the suite. I took one and was hooked. And as I chatted with the suite hostess about these brownies, I kept sneaking one and then another. I wanted to grab the plate and run out but I thought that would be in bad form. But as I exited, I grabbed two more. Yeah, I'm a piggy girl, sue me.

So what can I say about these? Go buy them, you'll love them. This is the easiest review ever. They taste delicious. They are rich with chocolate. The inside is filled with tasty caramel and they are just really good. They taste fresh and would make a great snack for any time of the day or night. Luckily, they are rich and tasty so one or two, satifies my sweet tooth!

But let me tell you more about the Pillsbury Sweet Moments Bite-Size brownies. First, these brownies come in Chocolate Caramel and Chocolate Fudge. I had both at BlogHer and loved them but I love the Chocolate Caramel even more. You do nothing except open the bag and enjoy! The best part is that at 60 calories per brownie, you can enjoy something sweet and not totally blow the diet. Secondly, Pillsbury has also made Molten Lava Brownies! Both are available in the refrigerated baked goods section of your local grocery store.

Now I didn't try the Molten Lava Brownies, yet. But on my next trip to the grocery store, those are already on my list! So there you have it. My honest opinion is you need to run out, right now, to the grocery store and try these for yourself. I think you'll love them as much as I do.

Along with the coupon for my brownies, I also received chocolate spa kit like the one in the picture. It includes a loofah, shower gel, lotion and bath salts. Ahh!!

And you all know that if I get something, you get something. One of you lucky readers will be able to get your own coupon to try the brownies and a Pillsbury Sweet Moments Prize Pack as well. Just read the rules and then enter to win!!

Mandatory Entry

This one is easy my friends, just tell me whic bite size brownie you would love to try. Or would you pick the Molten Lava brownie??

CLOSED ~ Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner Review & Giveaway

Okay, you all know that I hate cleaning. Hate it with a passion but I do it because there is nothing worse to me than a dirty house. My least favorite part of cleaning is cleaning the toilets. UGH!! So I am always on a never-ending search to find something to make my life easier.

When I received the opportunity to review the Scrubbing Bubbles® Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner from the Family Review Network, I was all over that like white on rice.

This is why I was all over it: The Scrubbing Bubbles® Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner provides a 360-degree clean, three times a day (no flushing required) by automatically spraying a powerful cleaner inside the toilet bowl, tackling unsightly toilet rings, lime scale and hard watermarks. Simply clip onto the toilet rim, add a new cleaning solution refill approximately every 30 days and the Scrubbing Bubbles® Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner does the dirty work for you.

To break this down, that means that my toilet will be cleaned automatically and I have to do nothing! Hello! Can it get better than that?

We have two bathrooms so it was a tough choice where I would try the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner. One bathroom is the "guest" bathroom although we use it because it is the closest to the front of the house. The other bathroom is in the master bedroom. I decided to try it in the master bathroom.

That bathroom has no window and a cheesy little fan that doesn't work that well. It does not have an air conditioning vent because our vanity area is separate from the toilet itself. So the vent is in that area and not the bathroom. Because of this, I find that many times the toilet bowl gets some mildew because thre is no circulation. I thought this was probably the best place to attach the Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner.

It was so easy to assemble and attach. I did it all by myself and never had to ask hubby for help. The unit already came with batteries. All I had to do was attach it to the rim of the toilet and the toilet tank. Then it works all by itself. It releases the cleaning liquid every 8 hours. This keeps your toilet clean and sparkly. You can also manually activate it as well.

It worked! I decided to keep the door closed for a few days and see if any mildew stains showed up and none did. The toilet looks like I just cleaned it when I didn't. I definitely need to get another one for our other bathroom. If I had a complaint, it would be I felt the smell of the liquid cleaner was a little strong for me. But since it does its own thing, I never really smell it unless I manually activate the unit.

Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner is available for purchase only on Amazon.com and Drugstore.com. The price is around $35 but let me tell you, it's worth it since I am lazy and hate cleaning toilets. It makes my life easier and that is priceless to me!!

And now one of you can win one of these cool toilet cleaners thanks to the Family Review Network and Scrubbing Bubbles. This is a shorty giveaway so enter soon!!!

CLOSED ~ Romano’s Macaroni Grill frozen entrĂ©es Review and Giveaway

I love when I get those emails from MyBlogSpark because I know I will always be receiving something great to sample and review. This is one of those cases. I was asked to review a new Romano's Macaroni Grill frozen entree.

These babies are now available in the freezer section of your local grocery store. They are inspired by the delicious meals you get at Romano's Macaroni Grill Restaurants. Yummo! You know am all about food so this was a review I looked forward to doing! The new flavors look yummy as well. They include: Grilled Chicken Florentine, Basil Parmesan Chicken, Roasted Garlic Shrimp Scampi and Spicy Italian Sausage Pomodoro.

Let's be honest, my hubby is spoiled. I love to cook so he gets home cooked meals almost everyday. Now that I am working, we eat out a little more but I still like to cook as much as I can. But sometimes after my long commute, I am over it. I don't want to come home and make a meal. He thumbs his nose at frozen entrees so I wasn't so sure if he would like this. But I fed it to him anyway.

I received the Basil Parmesan Chicken meal and let me tell you that it doesn't get much easier than this. All I had to do is add 1/4 cup of milk to my pan and then thecontents of the package. I stirred it and left it to cook for 16 minutes. That's all folks! Dinner was ready in under 30 minutes. The only complaint I usually have about these meals is that there is not that much food but this was plenty for the two of us. I added a salad and some garlic toast and dinner was served.

Okay, now on to the important part, the taste. It was delicious. It was creamy and satisfying. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delish! The veggies stayed crispy and didn't get soggy as many do in frozen entrees. And the big surprise, hubby loved it. He actually ate everything, didn't complain and exclaimed that we should try the other flavors. Thank goodness because every Romano's Macaroni Grill I buy, is one less meal I have to make! WOO!

Try it, you'll like it! And now one of you will get the opportunity to try one these meals and also receive a pasta dish and pasta tongs. Let me tell you that the tongs rock! They are sturdy and I use tongs for a lot of cooking so I was in hog heaven with these.

So read the rules and enter. I think you guys would love this and if you are as bus and lazy as I am, they are a perfect quick meal!

Mandatory Entry

This one is easy my friends, just tell me which of the four new entrees would tickle your fancy!

CLOSED ~ San Lori Review and Giveaway

I admit I am a techo-geek. I love email, tweeting and facebooking as much as the next person but deep down inside I still and very old fashioned and love to send cards. This is especially true when it comes to sending invitations, writing thank you notes or sending a special note.

I still send paper snail-mail birthday cards and thank you notes. I think it was my upbringing. My mom would always make us write thank you notes for gifts we received on our birthdays or any other occasion. I think that's where I got my love for stationery. I am always on the lookout for cute cards, paper and envelopes because I know one day, I will need them.

I recently had the opportunity to review products from San Lori. San Lori is a wonderful site that offers some really cute and classy paper products. San Lori not only has stationery but also some beautiful gifts. They will also personalize and that makes for a unique item. They have invitation cards, cards for all occasions, candles, coasters and much more.

I received a whole lot of goodies from San Lori to review. I received a notebook with a matching pen, thank you cards, personalized note cards and a lovely box filled with personalized paper. This will be great at my office. I loved the thank you cards. I always have some on hand and these were pretty. The paper quality was incredible as well and best of all they were cute.

I am definitely going to check out San Lori for my Christmas cards and any invitations I need to send. The selection is incredible and the prices are reasonable especially for personalized gifts. I am also dying to try the candles they have because they look adorable and would make fantastic gifts!!

I am almost wanting to throw a Halloween party so I can order some really adorable Halloween invitations.

Anyway, I was given the opportunity not only to review these cute products but also to do a giveaway. I chose one of the candles just for you my lucky readers. O-Cedar ProMist™ Wet or Dry Floor Cleaning System Review

I have to be perfectly honest, I hate cleaning. Despise it. But I am also a freak about having a clean house so I am always on the lookout for new products to make my life easier. The bane of my existence in my house, besides the bathrooms, are my hardwood floors.

I can handle tile; I can handle carpet. For some reason though I cannot handle the hardwood floors. I have tried numerous mops, cleaners and anything else to try and keep them clean. You have to be careful because you can't just willy-nilly use anything on the hardwood floors. So when I received the opportunity to try the O-Cedar ProMist™ Wet or Dry Floor Cleaning System, I jumped at it because I need something other than what I am using.

The brand I am using now is good but expensive. I have to buy the special solution and disposable pads. Besides the money I spend, I am also contributing to excess waste and not being very environmentally conscious.

I was ever hopeful when I pulled the O-Cedar ProMist Mop from the box. It was lightweight. The mop came with reusable pads and an refillable bottle. I have to say that this was already "greener" than the mop I am using. It was easy to set up and easy to use.

I decided to dry mop my floors at first. I like doing that because it picks up all the random hairs, dust and other stuff before I wet mop. It was easy and the microfiber pads picked up at lot of the cat hair and dust bunnies that seem to thrive on the hardwood floors. After dry mopping, I took off the pad and used the second pad to wet mop my floors.

The ProMist comes with two types of pads. One can be washed up to 100 times and the other is a semi-disposable for the really messy stuff. This is fantastic because you are saving so much money by being able to wash the pads instead of having to buy them, use them once and toss them to land in a landfill somewhere.

The mop cleaned up my dirty floors. And they were really dirty since I have been out of town for a few weeks. The pads went right intot he wash with no problem.

I also love the fact that can use my own solution as well. The refillable bottle makes it easy for you to go buy your favorite floor cleaner or make your own. When I need to get the tile floors really clean, I like using a vinegar solution and now I can with the ProMist Mop. Or I can use what I already have in my cleaning closet. I have two cats and I worry about certain cleaning solutions but now that I can choose my own, I can buy a pet friendly solution.

The plus of this mop is that it will save you money, period. No more having to use special products and you will definitely lessen the amount of waste that pollutes the Earth. I really liked this mop and if you are looking for a better, more green way to clean while saving money the O-Cedar ProMist™ Wet or Dry Floor Cleaning System might be for you. Make sure to check out the O-Cedar website because they have other cool cleaning solutions to make your life easier. And for someone like me, who hates cleaning, this is fantastic.

CLOSED ~ Moving Comfort Bra Review and Giveaway

I am forever on the search for a good bra. I am about to give out way too much information but the girls need a lot of support as I get older. But it is getting harder and harder finding a bra that fits well, looks good and gives me the support I need. I just bought some bras and had to return them because they didn't fit right. They pinched and the cups were just too small.

So when I had the opportunity to review a sports bra from Moving Comfort, I was happy to see if I could find a bra that would truly fit me. I wasn't sure if I would find something I would like but I checked out the site. They had a large assortment of full support sports bras for any shape and size. It probably helps that the company is owned and run by women, so I think they understand the needs we have with the girls.

When perusing the site, I realized that all the clothing they sell is designed and made with women in mind. They have a three part philosophy: Moving means Moving. Quality Comes First and Fit Affects Everything. And I believe, in my experience, they lived up to their philosophy.

After looking at a few bras, I decided to try the Cara bra because it was the one that looked most like a bra that I could also use as an everyday bra as well as a sports bra.

When I received the bra, it felt good and it looked like it was made well. I tried it on and it actually fit well. The Cara is an underwire bra, which I prefer but it was comfortable. I barely feel the wire but I get all the support I need. The cups are molded and sturdy. I sometimes have issues with the cups on certain bras because I need full coverage. Some claim to be full coverage but they aren't. This bra covered the girls quite well so there was no cutting or bra lines.

There are front and back mesh zones and the fabric is very breathable and high quality. The straps do not bind or slip. I always have issues with my bra straps slipping but these do not. There is a wide band around the bra and it held and didn't wrinkle or ride up. It was also comfortable and non-binding.

The best part is I got all the support of a sports bra but it doesn't feel like I am wearing a sports bra. The cups are smooth so I can wear it with a clingy top. The best thing is that regardless of the situation I am in, it stays in place, doesn't pinch or bind and supports the girls like no other bra I have used.

I am buying more of these in every color they have. That's how much I liked this bra. I have to be honest and say that I was not sure I would like this bra. But I do. The price isn't too bad either. It costs $42 but that is reasonable for a good sports bra. And because I am going to wear this as an everyday bra, it is well worth any price. I tell you, the girls are thrilled to have the support they need. The comfort factor is amazing and, of course, the support is the key. And this supports, shapes and feels good. This bra gets a HUGE thumbs up from me.

If you have the same issues I do with bras, then you might have to go peruse the Moving Comfort website because you might find the perfect fit for you. Also check out the wide variety of sports clothes. The items are cute and, if the same quality of the Cara bra, then they will be great for working out.

Now, if you feel lucky and want to try and win one of these bras, then you need to enter below. Moving Comfort has offered one of my readers a bra to try! Trust me, these are great bras.

CLOSED - Support Meals on Wheels + Splenda GIVEAWAY!!!!

I love Meals on Wheels. This organization does such great work and fulfills a need in the communities they service. According to the President and CEO of Meals on Wheels, Enid Borden, one in nine U.S. seniors is facing the threat of hunger. Splenda has already made a $50,000 to Meals on Wheels and now you can add to that by visiting the Splenda Facebook page and sending a piece of pie to raise more money. If more than 25,000 virtual pie slices are sent between the Fourth of July and Labor Day, McNeil Nutritionals, LLC, the marketer of SPLENDA® Sweetener, will donate an additional $5,000 to Meals on Wheels!

Simply visit the Splenda Facebook page and "Like" them. Then send a piece of "virtual" pie to your family and friends. You can "bake" your own custom pie by choosing from an array of animated crusts, fillings and toppings, then create a personalized message and send along to family and friends to sweeten their days as well. **Pies shared from the following states are not eligible to be counted toward the 25,000: Maine, Massachusetts, South Carolina and Alabama.
How easy is that? And to sweeten the deal, Splenda is offering one of my readers an awesome Splenda prize pack that includes:
* Splenda World of Sweet Drinks Cookbook
* Splenda Minis
* Splenda No Calorie Sweetener with Fiber
* Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
* Splenda Flavors For Coffee
* Splenda, Granulated

That's a great prize. I use Splenda all the time and love it and so will you! You know the drill!!

Mandatory Entry

Visit the Splenda Facebook site and send a virtual piece of pie and then come back and tell me what flavor pie you sent. And if you added the bells and whistles, I want to know that too.

Alice in, I mean, Caro in Wanderlust

Wow, what an adventure. I have to say I felt like Alice when she went down the hole. Wanderlust in a lot of ways was like being in Wonderland.

Remember, more videos of my trip at Carolyn in Carolina!
