This is a cool contest. The American Heart Association is trying to raise awareness of heart disease among Latinas. My friend, Migdalia, was chosen as one of the spokeswomen. YAY HER!! I am all about this cause because there is heart disease in my family and since I am not the healthiest person around, I know I have to watch myself as I keep getting older. Oy!They are also having a wonderful contest going on. You don't have to be a Latina to enter. You just have to enter and you could totally win a fabulous prize. Plus, it looks like a fun contest! Show us how you Go Red – Photo Contest
Last year, the American Heart Association unveiled its Go Red Por Tu Corazón movement at the 10th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards to raise awareness among Hispanic women about their threat of heart disease. This year we are back with a very special contest that can take you and a friend or a family member to this year’s Latin GRAMMY® Awards in style!

Bring awareness of heart disease within the Latina community and show the world your great fashion sense!
1. Email a photo of yourself to goredcorazon@heart.org with your favorite Red dress or Red accessory to represent Go Red Por Tu Corazón and bring awareness of heart disease
2. Include your name, age, contact information and a short description of why this cause is close to your heart.
3. AHA will then notify you via email/phone if your photo has been selected and will upload all photos on a third party photo site so that you can share with your friends on Facebook and twitter.
4. Share away! Encourage your friends to comment and be part of your journey as this increases your chance to win!
