Ziploc Review and Giveaway!


There are a few products I cannot live without. Ziploc freezer bags are one of those products. Actually, I use most of the Ziploc products and cannot imagine not using them. I use them for almost everything.

The Ziploc freezer bags come in handy when I need to freeze leftovers. During summer I always have them on hand because I use the Freezer bags to freeze veggies from my garden. At any given time, you will find at least 10 Ziploc gallon freezer bags in my freezer filled with tomatoes and tomato sauce. Freezing veggies is so much easier than canning and just as good!

My review package came with the Ziploc freezer bags, the new Portion Perfect bags and a set of Smart Snap Seal containers. I had tried the freezer bags and Ziploc containers before and use them all the time. But I really liked these small Smart Snap Seal containers because I found them to be the perfect for snacks.

The containers are the right size for portion control. You can make up your own 100 calorie snacks in these containers. I love goldfish and found that the containers hold just enough for me to be satisfied but not enough to overeat. They are also great to save leftover sauces.

My favorite product though was the Portion Perfect bags. There are only 2 people in our household so many times when I buy chicken or steaks they get freezer burn unless I split them up and freeze them apart. I usually use the regular Ziploc freezer bags but the new Portion Perfect bags are so much better for this.

The bags come with another bag inside. You can put your hand in the bag and pick up the piece of meat or whatever you are freezing without actually touching it with your bare hands. I love this because I am so paranoid about raw chicken. This leaves each piece individually wrapped which is fantastic because there is less waste. Plus, the chances of freezer burn are so low! Love these!

These products definitely get a thumbs up from me!

      I use Ziplock bags everyday! I have young twin girls. I want them to eat homemade lunches. So i put snacks in the snack size ones and their sandwhiches in the sandwich bags. Also as a mother of 4 children, i buy big packs of meat, then divide the meat up into meal size portions, stick them in the larger ziplocks and throw them in the freezer. When possible we reuse them as well as they are very sturdy and a quality bag. Thank you.
