Mamiverse.com will be attending the Festival People En Español presented by Target on September 1 and 2 in San Antonio, TX. The event will take place at the Alamodome. You can buy tickets on TicketMaster and start at $40. There are also weekend passes available!
The event is a celebration of Hispanic entertainment, culture and community. The line up of performers is fantastic. Some of the musicians who will be performing include Luis Miguel, Sheila E, Daddy Yankee, Prince Royce, Tito “El Bambino”, Larry Hernandez, 3BallMTY, and Banda Los Recoditos.
In addition, Festival People En Español will offer visitors two days of free, open to the public events including the opportunity to catch exclusive Q&A sessions with celebrities and telenovela stars, hear tips from leading industry experts on topics ranging from fashion to wellness, and interact with favorite brands.

I have to say that I wish I lived in San Antonio because I would love to attend this event. I especially would love to see Luis Miguel because I have been a Luis Miguel fan for decades. I loved him when he sang pop music in Spanish. But most of all, I loved when he started singing old boleros and classics.
He is one of the few musicians me and my father have in common. I remember I was visiting my father in Costa Rica and he said that I needed to listen to a new singer who had some wonderful music. When he turned on the music, it was Luis Miguel. We were surprised that we both knew all the words to his Romances CD.
