Happy Dia De Los Muertos ~ Day of the Dead!

Today is Dia de Los Muertos - Day of the Dead. I celebrate this holiday as well as Halloween. The Day of the Dead is about celebrating the dead. We honor their life and what they meant to us.

I made a funky monkey Sugar Skull cake to celebrate the day. It is made from cupcakes. I made them, frosted them and then put them together in the shape of a skull. Then I decorated the "cake". It's a little demented but very cute!
