I took my son to Disneyland for the first time when he was three years old. There were some characters (woody, mickey and cinderella) outside of the art center in California resort and they were inviting the kids inside to play games. They started with duck, duck, goose with the kids. Woody yelled goose with my son and he was so excited to be able to run around the big circle and chase Woody! He couldn't stop talking about it all day!

ReplyDeleteI went to Disney World for the first time the summer between 4th and 5th grade. My Dad was in the Navy and to celebrate the end of the Gulf War, all military families could get into the parks for free, so my Dad piled us all into the station wagon and we drove from Newport, RI to Kissimmee, FL. It was our first real vacation; prior to that our "vacations" were visiting my Grandma in the Bronx. We ended up moving to Kissimmee a year later because that's where my Mom's family had moved, so I was able to go to Disney more times than I can count after that.
