Barbie in the Pink Shoes - Barbie Doll and DVD Giveaway!

I remember when I was little, I had a Barbie. I loved her. My sister had a Barbie as well and we would spend hours on end with our Barbies. My mother sewed and because we didn't have much money, she would make Barbie clothes for our dolls. Our barbies had original and cool clothes.

To this day, I wish I would have kept my Barbie. But 40+ years have passed and I have no idea what happened to my Barbie with here extensive unique wardrobe.

Now years later, Barbie is still around making little girls happy. There are Barbie dolls and something I did not have when I was little, DVDs. Barbie has so much more now than my Barbie ever did.

On February 27th, Barbie will celebrate the DVD launch and accompanying toy launch of Barbie in The Pink Shoes by teaming up with professional ballerina Jenelle Manzi of the New York City Ballet to give your readers tips on making little dancing diva’s dreams come true.

About “Barbie in the Pink Shoes:”

Dance your way to a magical adventure with Barbie™ as Kristyn™, a ballerina with big dreams! When she tries on a pair of sparkling pink shoes, she and her best friend, Hailey™, are whisked away to a fantastical ballet world. There, Kristyn™ discovers she must dance in her favorite ballets in order to defeat an evil Snow Queen. With performances to the legendary Giselle and Swan Lake ballets, it’s a wonderful journey where if you dance with your heart, dreams come true!

Through the help of motion capture technology, Jenelle’s dance moves are featured in the movie and contributes to a Barbie.com supplemental video which shows girls how to do the movie’s dance moves! That is so awesome. I know years ago, I wanted to be a ballerina and still know many little girls who want to be ballerinas.

To celebrate the launch of "Barbie in Pink Shoes" I also have a wonderful giveaway!! One lucky reader will win a Barbie™ in the Pink Shoes Prize Pack that includes a Barbie™ DVD and Barbie™ in the Pink Shoes Barbie® as Kristyn Farraday. Please Note: The gift basket will vary based upon availability.

This is the perfect gift for your little ballerina! To win, just enter on the Rafflecopter widget below.

Although I do remember growing up, my older sister and I were going to our friends house to play Barbies. My older sister being bossy...lol...made me carry both Barbie cases...one on each handle bar of my bike. As we rode to our friends house...my knees kept hitting the Barbie cases each time I tried to pedal...and I fell going down a big hill...scraped up my knee. My sister had to go back home and get mom to come as I sat on the side of the road. Needed stitches and still have my Barbie scar on my knee! LOL
