Nutrisystem Nation Week 9 Update! #spon
This past week was uneventful. I am still exercising and trying to keep up on the fitness routine. It's tough.
It has been easier this week to follow my program to a T. With my hubby being gone, I don't have to cook and that is easier. When I went grocery shopping, I just stocked up on the healthy stuff. There were plenty of fruits and veggies in my cart.
When hubby is here, I buy a few things I shouldn't because I have to feed him. But he is back this week so it will get a little harder to stick to the plan.
The only good thing is that I get back to cooking which I really like doing. I found some healthy cooking cookbooks on the shelves this week. I am going to try and start learning some new recipes. It will make it easier for me when I transition off the Nutrisystem plan.
I worry about going back to bad habits when I am not on the program. I am trying to set myself up for that. I think if I start now I can do it. I am finding it is about making better choices. The other day I was craving french fries and ate a nectarine instead.
When I get cravings, I try to talk myself out of raiding the fridge or pantry. Changing habits is hard but it is the only key to success.
This week, I am down a pound and some ounces but I prefer rounding my weight instead of counting the ounces. I am taking some medication so I wonder if that played with my weight loss or not. For now, I will take a pound down and go from there.
Slow and steady, slow and steady!
Total weight loss to date: 11 pounds!

I think you are doing great... I have the same problems with wanting certain foods and then having the will power not to eat the wrong ones.
