Nutrisystem Nation Week 10 Update! #spon


I didn't expect to lose too much this week. I had to slow down on the exercise and I am on meds. I think that affected my weight loss but I still lost half a pound. And that is a good thing.

I am still not tired of the Nutrisystem food. Actually I have found some creative ways to make it better. My favorite thing in the program is the protein shake I get to have every day. I have taken to making it with skim milk instead of water. I also add goodies to it to make it better.

I follow Nutrisystem on Facebook and the other day Nutrisystem posted a recipe for a Chocolate Peanut Butter shake. Basically you take the protein shake, add skim milk or 2% milk and some peanut butter. All these things are allowed. Mix it up and there you have it the BEST thing ever.

I also love the Strawberry protein shakes. I add fresh berries and it is delicious.

The other day I added a little cool whip on top and then had my pizza for dinner. I swear, it was like I was eating pizza and a shake at a restaurant. It's this kind of variety and good food that make it easy to stick to the plan.

This week is about getting better and getting back to the exercise once again. The temptations are back because my husband is back and I need to start cooking my yummy food again.
