Time to Fix Up Our Outdoor Spaces!
This summer we have been trying to change out outdoor area. We have 2 porches and a back courtyard area. The back courtyard is the perfect place for a party. But we have not taken advantage of the area like we should have.
We finally bought a dining set and have a bistro table in the back by the pond. We have our grill out there so we can cook during the summer. We are looking to also upgrade the courtyard with a tent or a gazebo that offers us the ability to use the courtyard in cooler weather.
The other upgrade we would like is to add more lighting. Right now we have some lighting but we would love to have some lighting that looks organic to the area. There is nothing worse than having bright lights where moths and other pests gather around. It can ruin your party in a minute.
The lighting is a problem because of our lack of outlets. Because of this, we can only have some lights for entertaining but then we cannot have music.
We are looking to upgrade the electrical outlets but, in the meantime, I am looking for some cool wireless Outdoor or Garden Speakers like those available at Wire Free AV (Lucem). It seems to be the best way we can have music at our parties without much fuss.
The wireless speakers do not take up much space and, yet, offer high quality sound for not that much money. What I like about the idea of wireless speakers is that we can place them anywhere on our back courtyard or even move them to the front or side porches as well.
And we can also use them inside the house in any room we want. This comes in handy when I am in the back exercising or cleaning and want to listen to some music.
I am hoping to get some of these projects done this summer. We usually have an end of summer party and it would be great to be able to have an outdoor space that really works for us.
