Last year around this time, I was checking out the Cyber Monday sales online. I needed a new winter coat because my old was 5 years old and getting frayed and looking out of date. I looked everywhere for a great deal.

I even headed to Asheville, which is an hour drive from my house, to look for a coat. I shopped at every store imaginable. I found some cute coats but I did not have any coupons or discounts. There is one thing I never do and that is pay retail for an items.

I was able to find a beautiful coat at Macy's. I was also able to find a coupon on Coupons.com that helped me receive 40% percent off. Given that the coat was already 40% off, I got a great deal!

My coat was 80% off and I only paid about $40 for a $200 winter coat. What a great deal. Now, I don't even bother getting in my car and driving everywhere to find a great deal. I just go online, find what I want and then go searching for a coupon code.

It makes no sense to pay full price when you can get it cheaper. If you have not used coupon codes on Cyber Monday, then you really need to because you will save money. And in times like these, saving money is super duper important.
