X Burlesque at the Flamingo Las Vegas!

On our trip to Vegas last month, we were invited to a the X Burlesque Show at the Flamingo Las Vegas. We weren't sure if we wanted to go but decided that we should be cause it was something we had never done. We were staying at Paris, Vegas and that is just right across the street from the Flamingo so it worked out well for us.

X Burlesque is billed as one of the steamiest shows on the Strip. The show features six dancers and a comedian. The reason for the X is that the dancers dance topless. The show is very tasteful though and you forget the dancers are topless after a while.

When we arrived at 9:30 p.m. for the 10:00 pm show, we were surprised that there was already a line to get in. Our show was sold out! The show is in a small space at the Flamingo. There are several chairs and small tables set out around the stage. You can order drinks and sit back and enjoy the show.

The show started and it was non-stop dancing. The dancers were quite good. The music was fantastic. The music ranged from Rhianna, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Christina Aguilera, Shirley Bassey, Beyonce and more. I loved is that every dance number had a little story. There were country numbers, rock numbers and so many other type of dances. The show featured great lighting and props that enhanced the dances.

What surprised me is that the audience was very diverse. There was a couple with their son. They were celebrating his 21st birthday. There were groups of women probably out for a girl's night out. There were two bachelor party groups and tons of couples.

halfway through the show, a comedian came out and entertained the audience. She was fantastic. She had some great jokes and also interacted with the crowd by asking questions and joking with them. She was a great addition to the show.

I was definitely impressed with the show and we were both glad we were able to attend. The show was sexy but not sexual. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great Burlesque show in Vegas. You can buy tickets from the Flamingo site.  Performances run nightly at 10 pm.
