HELLO FRESH makes my dinners delicious and easy!

I was recently given the chance to review HelloFresh! HelloFresh is a meal subscription service that delivers great recipes and fresh ingredients to your home for free each week. All you need come in a box and all you need to do is follow the recipes and cook really tasty meals. The meals are created by the HelloFresh chefs and nutritionists. You choose the type of meals you want: with meat or vegetarian. HelloFresh then sends you everything.

I reviewed one box of HelloFresh products. I chose the Classic Box that includes meals with meat. I received 3 meals: Apricot Glazed Turkey with Beets & Orzo, Stuffed Squash with Cherry Balsamic Reduction, Dill Crusted Tilapia with Sweet Potato & Cranberry Medley. The food came in a sturdy box with plenty of dry ice. My meals were still cold when they arrived.

The best thing is that everything comes labeled and portioned out. You cannot go wrong because it is easy to understand how the food goes together and how it is supposed to be cooked. I loved the ease.

I made two of the three meals because my box came the day before Thanksgiving and we had so much food in the house at the moment. After Thanksgiving, we did not want anymore turkey so I am saving the Apricot Glazed Turkey with Beets & Orzo for next week.

I have to say that the meals were easy to make. Everything comes portioned out and the recipe meals cards have easy step by step instructions. I was even able to follow the recipes. Because if you know me, you know I do not follow recipes well.

Here are a few photos of my food.

There were a few missteps as far as the shallot being bad but I worked around that by using the good part. I also felt that the cooking instructions were a little off. My fish, for example, took longer to cook than the time stated on the card but I find that often with recipes. I also felt the Tilapia dish needed a sauce on the dish. But aside from little things like that, I really enjoyed having food delivered to my house.

If I has the money and less time, I would definitely use this service more often. A box of 3 meals runs around $69.99. That is actually a good price but it is only 3 meals. Although if I was really busy and didn't have the time to cook, I would buy the meals. I find these better than going out to a restaurant. At least you know the meals are fresh and nutritious. And one meal at a restaurant would be almost the same amount of money.

Would I recommend Hello Fresh? Yes. I say try it out. If you are really busy and want fresh meals then this is a great option. I know I would order again.
