Pompeian Grapeseed Oil Review

I have to admit that even though I consider myself a foodie, I have never tried Grapeseed Oil. So when I had the chance to review Pompeian Grapeseed Oil, I was nicely surprised at what I found.

The Pompeian Grapeseed Oil  in a spray can, which was great because I could control the amount I needed. I used less oil than I would normally use. The flavor was also good. It was lighter than olive oil and had a fruity taste that complemented my recipes.

I also loved that the Grapeseed Oil has a high smoking point. I need this when I am cooking steak. I used it on my steaks and I was glad that the oil had a high smoke point because I got busy doing something else and then realized I had the oil in the pan but it did not burn. I think olive oil would have burned.

The Pompeian 100% Grapeseed Oil all natural cooking spray is great for grilling, sauteing and backing. I sauteed veggies and they came out delish. I didn't even have to use butter. I was able to use it in a few recipes.

Pompeian imports 100% of its Grapeseed Oil from France. Grapeseed Oil is also a rich source of Vitamin E and antioxidants. And because of its high fluidity, it reduces excess oil from absorbing into the food.

I really enjoyed the Pompeian Grapeseed Oil and I will buy it again. Now I need to research a few more recipes that I can use it in. But I think I can substitute it in any dish that uses regular or olive oil. It is that versatile. For more product information, click here.

  1. I have never tried it either. I'm going to look into the health benefits/risks for my own health issues and see about switching. Right now I'm using cold pressed extra virgin olive oil for everything. (And every once in a while a shot of PAM - the olive oil type. This looks like it might be much better for us.

  2. Hi Carolyn, your articles are always great and seem to always be relevant to me and my families lives.

I have high cholesterol and my doctor has told me to take grape seed extract twice a day. Is there any issue with this as with the grape seed oil?
