I am very picky about my laundry so I use products that I know will make my clothes clean and take out stains! Plus, I am a fiend about Downey Unstoppables because I love my clothes smelling fresh and clean!
And I can always count on P&G products to help keep my family's clothes looking as good as they can.
I love clothes but I don;t have the money to keep buying everything so I try to keep them in good shape. With a good laundry detergent, like Tide + Coldwater Clean, you can wash in cold water and get them clean. This helps my clothes last longer. To make clothes last longer as well, I make hubby wear the same work clothes when he is working outside. That way he ruins one set of clothes instead of ruining several. I also love the New Tide Ultra Stain Release. It takes out so many stains especially the grass stains hubby gets into!
I recently tried the new Gain Flings and love them. Gain 3 in 1 Flings include 50% more scent, and oxi boost and Febreze! These actually make my laundry day easier. I don;t have to lug around giant bottle of fabric softener or laundry detergent.
If you have not shopped for laundry products at Family Dollar, you should go check it out. Great products, good prices will equal an easy laundry day that will leave you with clean and fresh smelling clothes! To get you started I have a fantastic laundry prize pack. Here is what is included:
* $25 Family Dollar Gift Card
* Downy Unstoppables
* Gain Flings
* Samples from the Tide Plus Collection

ReplyDeleteTurning jeans inside out helps keep the right, dark color to last longer when washing repeatedly
ReplyDeleteMy laundry tip: I tell my family that if they have a stain on any piece of clothing, to leave it on top the washing machine rather than put it in the laundry bucket so that I know to pre-treat the stain.
ReplyDeleteMy Laundry tip is to save money from constant dryer use by : "When possible I line dry laundry, even inside you can put shirts on hangers, run a thin rope line inside your shower or utility room, etc. & let air dry. Then toss then for 5 minutes in the dryer with your favorite dryer sheet which then will remove wrinkles, stiffness & add a fresh scent." Thank you Carolyn, wonderful review & giveaway. I love the Family Dollar Store & their great low prices & coupon flyer they offer that comes by mail right to your door. Julie @ sewitupjulie@gmail.com

My best tip is to never throw a pair of jeans in with the load of towels you are bleaching.
ReplyDeleteI use a towel to keep the door of my front-loading washer open whenever it's not being used. If I don't, the washer gets a funky smell that can transfer to the clothes, and I certainly don't want my supposedly clean clothes coming out smelly.
ReplyDeleteI always use Gain Fabric Softener during the rinse cycle - it makes the clothes smell so good for longer.
ReplyDeleteWell, it is more a laundry drying tip. I use those rubber balls and/or wool balls to dry clothes faster and (in the case of the rubber balls), soften the fabric.
ReplyDeleteI take a bunch of hangers with me to my complex's laundry room so that I can put the clothes straight onto them out of the dryer, rather than folding them up to take back home and *then* sticking them on hangers. Saves a lot of time!
