The Govind Armstrong Indi Chef Challenge!

If you are a chef or wannabe chef like me then you might be interested in this new cooking challenge. Renowned Chef Govind Armstrong is partnering with talent discovery Indi.com to put on the Govind Armstrong Indi Chef Challenge from March 14 to April 14!

This online cooking challenge is designed to discover and reward aspiring and professional chefs with the opportunity to showcase their talents and show the world their cooking skills. Chefs will also have the chance to win prizes. One of those prizes include appearing with Chef Armstrong in a culinary event. How cool is that?

All you have to do is make your version of any dish from his restaurants Post & Beam or Willie Jane. Create a video of you making the dish and submit it to win. I am actually considering submitting my own video but I am so bad at making videos! But this is such a great opportunity for any amateur or professional chef to show off their culinary skills and win great prizes!

You can enter online until April 14th. Then from April 15 to April 21 the voting will take place and then the winners will be announced on April 22! Chef Armstrong will hand-select a “Chef’s Pick” and five exceptional Challengers (at his discretion) to be interviewed for a position in one of his restaurants, feature their dish on the Post & Beam menu, or cater a culinary event with him. The “Votes Winners” will receive gift cards valued at $500, $300 and $100.

So what are you waiting for? Start thinking about what recipe you want to cook up for Chef Govind. You better impress him because Chef Armstrong has been featured on the Oprah Show, Food Network’s Iron Chef, Los Angeles Times, and People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People. It is great that he is trying to find rising culinary talent through this challenge!
