Chicago, Chicago that toddling town!

I never posted any pictures from my Chicago on this blog. Usually my personal stuff goes on Carolyn in Carolina. But since I am away and not posting this week, I figured that maybe you might want to check out some pics and stories.

We had a great time. Hubby was there for a conference so I tagged along. Why not, right? It was freezing cold but I saw some great sites. Ate some great food and crossed the Windy City off my list.

I also have to give a shout out to CityPASS. I received 2 CityPASS books to use on this trip. Our trip was short but I used the ticket for the John Hancock Observatory and the Art Institute of Chicago. If you visit one of the cities where CityPASS services, get the CityPASS.

Here is a little more information about CityPASS:

For more than 16 years, CityPASS ticket booklets have been the premier product for travelers who want to visit a destination's top attractions while enjoying significant savings of up to 50 percent. CityPASS, which has a 95 percent customer recommendation rating, contains prepaid admission to the most popular attractions in 11 North American destinations: New York City, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa Bay, Toronto and Southern California. For more information, visit CityPASS.com.

Each CityPASS contains actual admission tickets to a destination's top five or six attractions.  At many sights, CityPASS provides VIP access, allowing travelers to bypass an attraction's main-entrance ticket line.  CityPASS ticket booklets are valid for nine consecutive days, beginning with the first day of use.

It saved us a lot of money just as it did when we visited Atlanta. It is such a fantastic deal! Check out CityPass when traveling.

Here are some pics and links to my blog posts if you want to see more! Enjoy.

  1. Too bad you were not here this past weekend--Saturday it was 80. Then yesterday we had snow. This is the Chicago area--wait ten minutes the weather will change.
Glad you enjoyed your stay and saw some great sites.

  2. Gosh! I really like your pictures of you and your husband on your trip to Chicago. You guys had a lot of fun, and the scenery and buildings are wonderful to see and take a ride to look at. I want to go to Chicago, but only if it is warm.
