Cookina and Colman's Summer Grill-Off!

It's summer and it is time to grill! Unfortunately for me, we have no grill this summer. When we moved we left our old grill at the old house. We thought we would buy a new one here in Wilmington but with all the moving, traveling and unpacking, we will not have one for the 4th of July. Sigh.

Luckily, my new range has it's own grill feature! YAY! This is a plus because while I cannot grill outdoors, I can grill indoors. It's a little messier inside but it still gives me the option of grilling until we get an outdoor grill.

Luckily, I have something that will make my messy indoor cooking less messy. I received a sample of COOKINA Barbecue Reusable Grilling sheets. COOKINA sheets offer a great solution for making grilling easy. The sheets are non-stick and easy to clean. You can use them over and over. Plus, your grill will be nice and clean for the next time. You can find COOKINA grilling sheets at Home Depot.

I also received some samples of Colman’s Mustard. Colman's is my go to dry mustard. It is the only one I use. It is made from 100% pure mustard flour made from brown and white mustard seeds. It contains no dyes, chemicals or preservatives. I love it because it really gives my recipes a punch a need. I make sure to put this in my dry rub for steaks and chicken. It is fantastic!

What I hadn't tried was the Colman's prepared mustard.  The mustard is fat-free, cholesterol-free and kosher plus it was really delicious especially when I made a vinaigrette. I know that I will be using the mustard this summer!

Head over to the COOKINA Facebook page and learn how you can win a trip to Las Vegas. Right now Cookina and Colman's are having a great contest. Just enter a photo of  your best COOKINA recipe and you might win. The grand prize winner will win the trip but other winners might win a COOKINA prize from Chef George Duran. You know I already entered.

Make sure you enter! And make sure to follow Colman's on Facebook as well. Happy cooking!

  1. I never tried this brand or heard of it before but it looks great. Our favorite thing to do in the summer as a family is be outside and grill, I love the smell of it. We love making BBQ chicken, steaks, hot dogs, veggies, corn, even pineapple on the grill. It really brings the family together and fun times.

  2. Is the cooking sheet under the chop and over the grill? Forgive my stupidness but I have never seen an indoor grill on a range. Gosh I hate that you won't have a grill for the 4th. Just follow your nose to one of your neighbors houses and just say hi! That will no doubt get you an invitation! I love using mustard as part of a marinade for chops...yum.

  3. I like using Mustard on chicken and Beef and this is very good mustard. Your steaks look delicious on your indoor grill and I bet they tasted good. I find outdoor grills to be messy and hard to use. I have a George Foreman indoor grill and I love it!

    1. I love my George Foreman grill too. I have a small one but it is so much easier than a huge outdoor grill!
