As some of you know, we just moved from the mountains of North Carolina to the coast of North Carolina. We bought a house but we still have our old house that we are renting. We now live 6 hours from the old house so we cannot easily drive and show the house to potential renters.

A few months ago when we rented a house in Palm Springs, the owner had one of these locks on the door. It allowed him to not have to be there when renters came. He gave us the key code and we had no issue getting the keys. When we left, we put the keys into the lock and they were safe.

When we realized we were going to rent our house, I knew we had to get the same lock as well. It is super convenient and easy to use. Now we do not have to worry about anyone getting into the house. It also makes it easier for renters to go see the house while we are out of town.

This lock is also great for storage sheds, storage lockers and garages. Our new house has a detached garage so I think another lock is in order. We have a key but it keeps getting lost. I think this lock is more secure and easier to use.
