Last year, hubby and I went on a trip of a lifetime. We went to Europe and traveled to four different cities. We started out in London. We then went onto Paris. Our next two stops were Barcelona and Madrid. It was amazing.

One of our favorite places was London. We were surprised how much we loved it. We hit all the tourist spots but then we went off the beaten track. We wanted to see the Sherlock Homes museum but the line was crazy. So we decided to take a walk and ended up in a little park. We bought some coffee and sat there feeding the birds. It was lovely.

Luckily, we were prepared for the weather because we brought along a mini umbrella and a great bag to travel with. That travel bag we took with us was great and saved us throughout Europe. It was the best investment we made because it fit everything we needed.


Besides our money and documents, we had a mini umbrella, scarves, rain ponchos, camera, video camera, phones, maps and it fit our souvenirs! It was perfect. We would have been lost without our phones and camera. Luckily, they were always present so we could document our travels and unexpected adventures. Including the one where I ended up in a hospital in Barcelona. Luckily, I knew Spanish!

Our trip to Europe was really an amazing experience and I am glad I was able to go with hubby. It was a special trip that we will never forget. Thank goodness we had all our tech items like our tablets, camera,s video camera and chargers to help us make sure we had those memories recorded. This was a trip we will never forget. It was just another step in the journey that is our life together.

I also would have loved the Canon EOS Rebel T5I for our trip. It is the perfect camera for making memories. My camera was not as nice as this one. If you travel to Europe you will need an adapter. We had no problem in London but once we arrived in Paris and Spain, we needed an adapter. The Swiss Gear International Converter / Adapter Plug Kit is the perfect accessory for any traveler.

I recommend if you travel to tag your bag. The Embark Microinjected Luggage Tag is a must have. We made sure to tag our bags and it was easy for us to pick them out from the rest of the luggage. We never had a problem. I also recommend having a Travel First Aid kit on your travels. We had one and it came in handy more than once.

The one item any couple needs if they travel abroad is Rosetta Stone Spanish V4 Totale T. I took some French lessons before we traveled to Europe. I wish I would have bought the Rosetta Stone program for French before I left. By the time I arrived in France, I had forgotten most of what I learned and had to rely on my translator app.
