A few months ago, I went to Los Angeles on a press trip. When I returned home, I had a scratchy throat. It turned into a full blown cold with the worst sore throat I have ever had. But I got over it only to get sick again after a press trip to Las Vegas. It was terrible. When we went on vacation for Christmas, we returned to our house in chaos after some remodeling. The contractor left it in a shambles. There was dust everywhere and we had to clean it. Since then, I have had a scratchy throat because of the dust.
I have tried a lot of things to help my throat. I have gargled with salt and lemon. One of my grandmother's remedies. I sip at lemon with honey. I have honey water tea every night. Some of the helps but my throat is still scratchy and that causes me to cough and it is irritating. I am pretty much over it.
So when I had the opportunity to try a new product made especially for sore throats, I had to try it because for the past few months, I have been one of over 15 million people who have had to visit a doctor because of a sore throat.
Unlike colored sprays and drops made with scary sounding chemical ingredients that only hide the pain for a while, GoGargle! is made up of salts to treat the sore throat and soothing ingredients like honey and aloe to moisturize. This combination of ingredients both reduces inflammation but also soothes and moisturizes making GoGargle! a more natural way to treat a sore throat.
What I loved about GoGargle! was how easy it was to use. Open it, pop it into a warm glass of water and it fizzles. Then you gargle and it soothes your throat. It soothed mine! I usually use salt water to gargle but oftentimes the taste is so horrible that it makes me worse. GoGargle! has a subtle minty taste so it is not as bad. It is also very smooth so when I was gargling, it didn't hurt my throat either.
GoGargle! doesn't just mask the pain. The healing power of salt works to reduce inflammation, while the honey, aloe and chamomile soothe throat tissue and provide long-lasting relief. The special blend of salts reduce painful inflammation and bacteria in the back of your throat by drawing fluid out of swollen tissue, while the aloe, chamomile, honey and zinc soothe and moisturize it.
GoGargle! is going to be in medicine cabinet from now on. I wish I would have had this months ago! During cold and flu season, you should as well. Head over to the GoGargle! site and grab a coupon so you can try it. You can use the shopping app Checkout51 you can go here and get a coupon as well. If you and/or your followers are familiar with the app, feel free to share the link to this coupon as well!

ReplyDeleteI use peppermint tea with honey or hot lemon water, and take tylenol. In Russia where we lived several years I was told two folk remedies -- one was boiling pine needles (and raspberry leaves, I think?) and drinking the tea from that, and the other was mixing a tea cup full of warm milk with 2 Tablespoons of oil and some honey. I tried both. sarah@forrussia.org
