I am not kidding. I wash my hair and it just comes out. I brush my hair and there is hair all over the floor and sink. It's not a good thing. When we moved into this new house, it became a bad thing. Our drains were always clogging and it was mainly my hair.
Just 2 weeks ago, we had to have the plumber come and snake out the pipes. Now, most of that was not my hair but it added to the problem.
So the DrainWig is actually a good thing for our household. The DrainWig comes in two different varieties. Both go down your drain and the little feelers on the cord actually grab the random hair that goes down the drain. One actually sits on your drain. And the other can be put into the drain and the little suction cup on it holds it up. This is great because we all have different types of drains.
I installed both in my guest bathroom. Right now we are actually renovating our master bathroom and have to use the guest bathroom. I installed the suctioned DrainWig in the sink and the the other DrainWig in the shower. Since we rarely use this bathroom, it actually is great because now all my hair is going down that drain!
I like this product because it is something I really needed in my house. Once the renovation is done on our master bathroom, the DrainWig will be moving into the new bathroom. I do not want to have the plumbers come out again to unclog our pipes.

ReplyDeleteConfession: I actually thought our drain plug was broken, because it wouldn't push down any more. After months (yes, months), my spouse finally took a look at it and found that there was just a huge wad of hair wound around it. Blech. But at least it works now! (And yes, I'm having the menopausal hair changes, too.)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a problem with hair in the drains, and we'd like to keep it that way. Thank you for the giveaway!
