JCPenney Glam Ball and My Cinderella Moment before the Red Carpet! #JCPCinderellaMoment #Cinderellaevent

Disclosure: I attended the #CinderellaEvent and my expenses: flight, accommodations, transportation and some meals were covered by Disney. All opinions, however, are 100% mine.

The day of the premiere, we were treated by JCPenney to a Glam Ball. If you know me, you know I need all the help I can get when it comes to hair and makeup. Because I am such a low maintenance girl, I never really wear makeup or do up my hair. When I have to attend an event with hubby, I do it myself and it is never too glamorous or complicated.

The opportunity to have help with my hair and makeup for the premiere of Cinderella was amazing and JCPenney gave us a wonderful experience. From the minute we walked into the Glam Ball, we were treated like princesses. We were assigned a Prince Charming who helped us through the event. We were treated to drinks and nibbles before we had our hair and makeup done.

The room had a wonderful view of the city and the hair and makeup people were totally professional and so friendly. The "Glass Slipper" drink was the perfect start to a great day that would include the red carpet premiere of Cinderella.

I had my makeup done first and the makeup artist gave me heavy liner and I loved it. I never ever use liner because it looks like I put it on in a speeding car during a earthquake. It was a treat to have it put on correctly. She also gave me a little color and pop to my lips. My hairdresser gave me curls. When she first started, I looked like Shirley Temple but then she uncurled them, I looked like a Hollywood star.

After my beautification, I was able to shop for accessories. I had bought a small necklace for my dress but when I went into the accessory lounge, they found the perfect statement necklace for me. I think I was the only one wearing red so this beautiful necklace was the perfect choice. I also got a matching bracelet.

When I went back to the room to put on my IGIGI dress, the necklace was perfection. It really brought the look together. I couldn't have asked for anything more except for maybe Richard Madden on my arm as I was ready to walk the red carpet!

Before we walked the red carpet, JCPenney gave us one more special treat! We were invited to a pre-premiere reception at the El Capitan theater where the film would be premiering. The El Capitan theater is so wonderful as well. I remember as a little girl going to movies there and it was always a treat because it is such a beautiful theater. And, it is so representative of Old Hollywood!

When we arrived we were greeted with great drinks and more yummy bites. On display were also props and costumes from the film. The dresses were amazing. When you watch the movie, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of the costuming. Costume designer, Sandy Powell, did an amazing job, And stay tuned because I will be posting the interview with Sandy Powell next week!

JCPenney really made me feel like a princess that day and I loved being able to get pampered! It was such a special treat and I felt beautiful with my mini make over. Then to top it off, we all received a JCP card and a beautiful Cinderella dress. I am sending the dress to my great niece, Harper. She will absolutely look like perfection in this dress.

Thank you JCPenney for making me look amazing! You can follow JCPenney on  FacebookTwitter, and Pinterest! Follow El Capitan Theater on Facebook and Twitter
