Walking the Red Carpet for the Cinderella Premiere at the El Capitan Theater! #CinderellaEvent
Disclosure: I attended the #CinderellaEvent and my expenses: flight, accommodations, transportation and some meals were covered by Disney. All opinions, however, are 100% mine.
Where do I start? Me, on the red carpet at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, really? But it happened. And it was wonderful. This is all the group before the premiere!
After the pre-premiere party hosted by JCPenney, we were escorted to the side of the red carpet where the stars would be walking. It was so crazy but in a good way. I took this Vine video to give you a sense of how it feels. The funny thing is as I was filming I didn't notice that my favorite kitty ever is in it. Yes, that's the Grumpy Cat at the very beginning of the Vine! And, no, I did not get a pic with her. I am very sad about that because you all know how much I love the Grumpy Cat!
Once on the side red carpet, we walked and watched. I didn't take a lot of photos because I wanted to actually experience every single moment. I wanted to take in every second because this might be the last time I ever do this! It was so cool.
Yes, I wore flats and it was the best decision I ever made. If I had worn heels, I would have died!
Once we finished our walk, we ended up at the front of the El Capitan Theater and walked into the official pre-premiere party that was amazing. Besides food and drinks, there were all types of activities for the kids and big kids, There were crafts, photo stations and so much more. There were performers and music and it was so much fun. I saw a few celebrities like Octavia Spencer, Toni Collette, Jeremy Sisto, Molly Ringwald, Josh Gad and others. I didn't take pictures because I am a little iffy about the whole privacy thing. Unless, of course, if Colin Farrell had been there. That would have been a different story and I would have never been invited back or maybe I would have ended up in jail. Maybe it was a good thing he wasn't there. But, I digress.

After an hour or so, we were asked to enter the movie theater because the movie was beginning. We grabbed our soda and popcorn and entered. At one point, Cate Blanchett walked right past me and I almost died. Once inside, we were treated to the premiere of Cinderella and all I can say is that it was magical! Stay tuned because I will be reviewing the film next week. I LOVED IT!

Well, your smile shows how happy you were to be part of it all. Too bad about missing Grumpy Cat, but if that's the worst thing that happened, I'd say you did okay. :-)
