AVEENO® Daily Moisturizing Sheer Hydration Lotion Giveaway!


As an AVEENO® Ambassador, I love sharing tips for healthier skin. Luckily, I got some great ones from Dermatologist Dr. Francisco Flores. Dr. Flores advises that he best kept secret to healthy skin is to keep it hydrated. I know this is true because if I do not drink enough water, my skin gets dry and looks unhealthy.

Here are some other tips from Dr. Flores:

Don’t just apply sunscreen before you leave the house.
The key is to reapply every two hours when you’re outdoors in order to minimize sun damage throughout the day. Remember the ideal broad-spectrum sunscreen should have an SPF 30 or higher.

Healthy-eating habits do matter.
What you eat also affects your skin’s health, especially as it ages. Eat foods rich in antioxidants and proteins to help nourish and renew damaged skin.

Don’t forget your lips!
Ditch the gloss and go for a balm instead. Balms tend to add extra moisture to your lips and stay on longer. Consider using one with an SPF 15, no less!

Have fun, but don’t forget to rest.
Lack of sleep can slow the production of collagen in the skin. When this happens, the skin loses its elasticity and begins to look prematurely aged.
