Halo Top Creamery Review & Giveaway!!

My life is all about getting healthy now. After hubby's health scare, we need to make a lifestyle change. I am cooking and eating healthier. Of course, we are not going to go super crazy and give up everything but we are definitely reading labels, cutting back on fats, sugars and salt. It's been hard but we are getting used to it.

I now have to find products that are better for us yet still satisfy us. One of the products we have totally given up is regular ice cream. Almost every night we had a bowl of ice cream for dessert and that is no longer an option. We have traded out regular ice cream for frozen yogurt and other alternatives.

Luckily, I was asked if I wanted to review Halo Top Creamery Ice Cream. Halo top is a 100% natural, preservative-free, lite ice cream. It only has 60-80 calories per serving, each flavor is made completely free of artificial sweeteners, synthetic growth hormones and cheap corn syrup. It also contain 7 grams of protein (hello, protein shakes) and 4 grams of fiber, sugar and net carbs! Halo Top is also completely free of GMO’s, gluten, trans fat and gelatin – making them all vegetarian friendly.

Halo Top comes in Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry and Lemon Cake and now they have introduced three new flavors:

I have to admit that I never even heard of Halo Top but I found it at my local Whole Foods. I got a few pints and started tasting. Halo Top is delicious. It is creamy and I could not tell it had lower calories because it was so good. I love that it has a low sugar content. Hubby even loved it and had no idea it was low cal until he saw it in the freezer. But he still wants me to buy it and I will!
