Knock on wood, we haven't had any major pest problems. For prevention, we try our best to keep food stored in tamper-proof containers and also keep our countertops clean.

ReplyDeleteThanks to a stray cat, we had flea issues, and with a baby, we didn't want to use toxic spray. A desklamp left on at night over a bowl of soapy water worked great. After two or three days, no more fleas.

We have woods in the back of our backyard. I see a little bit of everything, from Possums, raccoon, rabbits, snakes,and spiders. So I have 3 cats and 3 dogs to keep them away.

ReplyDeleteFortunately, no pest issues at present. I've accidentally brought home pests in grocery store bags and promptly but out bait and got rid of them quickly.

ReplyDeleteI know I get ants every beginning of Spring. SO I clean very well and get the ant traps out early so they are gone early and don't take over the whole house!
