Verizon Makes My Life Easier! #VZWBuzz

We recently went on vacation. We rented a wonderful little lake house in the mountains of North Carolina. It was amazing. One of the things that we loved about the house is that there was wi-fi available.

Unfortunately, the wi-fi was spotty at best. We also had a few storms that caused a power outage. And I had work to do. With my new job, I blog at night and weekends. I also had planned catching up on my blog during vacation. It was becoming impossible to do any work with spotty wi-fi.

Luckily for me, I had my phone and I had my Verizon service. Even up in the mountains of North Carolina in a remote spot on a lake. It was a godsend. Not only was I able to take time to answer my emails an check my social media channels. I was able to put up a quick blog post when the wi-fi was out.

And there were some issues at my outside the home job. Some donors had questions about a gift and I had to answer some emails about an event we are having in September. Thanks to Verizon, I was able to do all that on my phone. Fires were put out and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that even though my wi-fi would not work, my Verizon service would.

Even when we lost power, I was able to access my e-books on the Kindle on my phone. I had downloaded them to my tablet but when that died, I was able to download the book to my phone and finish reading while waiting for the power to come back on.

Best of all though was being able to share my adventures with friends and family whther I was at the house, in the lake or on a boat. I can always count on being connected with Verizon!

  1. Wee love vacationing close to water - your little getaway looks so relaxing. We are Verizon customers too!

  2. I do not currently have Verizon, but in the future, I may get it. It's good to know that Verizon has such good service, even in the mountains.

  3. Having a backup is always a good plan.
