December 4th was National Cookie Day. Now I love there is a National Cookie Day but, for me, cookie day is everyday!

The Holiday Season always means cookies to me because I participate in cookie exchanges and I love giving cookies as gifts. I make several types of cookies and pack them up in gifts. It is an inexpensive and personal gift to give to friends.

Sometimes I get crazy and make my cookies from scratch. Oftentimes, I use a mix because I am so busy. I might add my personal touch to the cookies but using mixes makes my life so much easier. Plus many mixes taste like homemade.
