If there is something I love it's food. I love eating. I love cooking and I love trying new food items. One of the favorite new fads is the idea of food subscription boxes. I love the idea of having foods that I might not ever buy or even find at my local stores delivered to my house.

This is why I love NonnaBox.com. NonnaBox, founded by Guido Pedrelli a US-based Italian is Guido's way of finding the Italian food he grew up with and that his Nonna (grandmother) cooked.

I received a NonnaBox filled with goodies from the Puglia region of Italy.  Each month, the Nonna Box features a different Italian region. Each box has six curated imported products that are traditional o the region.The boxes are filled with delicious and tasty item from different regions. Since it is a subscription box, you get new goodies every month. If you love fine and unique food, this subscription service is something you might enjoy. I know I loved my box.

My box was filled with olive oil, crackers, artichoke spread, dried tomatoes, pasta and some beautiful green and plump olives. I loved the olive oil because that is all I ever use. I also loved the rest of the box. The box came with recipe ideas. This was wonderful because it gave me ideas on how to use my items.

The artichoke spread with the crackers was delicious and I cannot wait to make the pasta with the tomatoes. I have already used the olive oil because I love olive oil. This olive oil was fruity and rich and really of good quality.

NonnaBox's mission is to bring the culinary history and traditions of different parts of Italy to your house. I would definitely like more of these boxes. I know they would be used in my house and these are great as gifts as well!

If you are looking for a food adventure and love subscription boxes, this one is for you. The boxes are $69.99. This is not a bad price for imported products. I could easily pay that at Whole Foods when I buy specialty products. Plus, it comes right to your door.
